Three new Black Belt rules have been voted on & approved on 8/8/2013
The Probationary Rule, The Inappropriate Behavior /Actions Rule, The Jr. Cho Dan Retest Rule
1) The Probationary Rule
The Probationary Rule has been approved for enactment and going
into retroactive effect back to promotions from Jan.1, 2011 till present time.
Effectively this means anyone who tests or has tested for Cho Dan and is promoted
will be on probation for up to 1 year from the date of there test and will wear
a plain Black Belt with idenifiable markings of rank during his/her probation.
If you do not stop or drop out within your probationary period of up to 1 year
you then become fully eligible to be issued  your Idenifiable Black Belt Stripe & Cho Dan Certificates.
If you chose or have chosen to stop or drop out within your probationary time
you will be required to Re-Test for Cho Dan if you so choose to return
regardless of having previously received your Cho Dan Papers or not.
2) Inappropriate Behavior and/or Actions Rule
If any Black Belt at any time is asked to leave or leaves on his own do to
inappropriate behavior or actions as deemed so by the GKS Masters and/or
Instructors they will no longer be an approved Black Belt Under GKS
3) Junior Cho Dan Re-Test Rule
Any person(s) testing for Black Belt under the age of sixteen will be required to
re-test on or before there 16th Birthday for the rank of Adult Cho Dan, This is
totally at the descretion of KJN
